Art of Living Banstead

Reigate Architects were commissioned by the Art of Living to design the interior and shopfront for their new cookshop in Banstead High Street.

Working to a tight budget and timescale we designed and delivered a bright, modern store. Bespoke shopfitting items were designed and produced in-house using low-cost but attractive finishes such as scaffolding boards, plaster lathings and reed matting. Because the shopfront is north-facing and obscured by trees a bold colour scheme was developed to increase street presence.

“I have now employed Reigate Architects on two projects and on both occasions Simon provided a wide variety of potential designs for discussion – some of which were highly thought-provoking and innovative. Simon is not only creative but also practical and pragmatic- therefore his final designs have delivered attractive and clever designs within practical and affordable constraints. We continue to work with Reigate Architects and are happy to recommend them”.
