Brief
Our client required additional space for dining.
Response
This building sits in a Conservation Area. The semi-circular plan form of the new dining area effectively links the existing kitchen and living rooms whilst allowing the smallish garden to flow around the sides of the extension. The tall glazing, minimal structure and low window cills combine to give the impression of sitting in the garden. The design incorporates a built-in seat for dining and is finished with a zinc roof.
