Brief
The Yard is a well-liked small community space hosting a variety of ‘pop-up’ events. The manager of The Yard required new structures providing increased protection from the weather.
Response
Reigate Architects designed perimeter seating/display/canopy units which provide weather protection whilst retaining the open-air/tree-canopied character of The Yard. The budget-friendly structures give increased operational freedom and a greater sense of ‘destination’. The canopies can be internally illuminated to ‘glow’ at night.
