Our client required a new kitchen and breakfast room extension to this substantial 1885 detached dwelling in a Conservation Area.
The low brick walls, cills and joinery of our traditionally designed extension closely match the detailing of the adjoining bay window. The roof of the extension is lead-covered with wood-cored rolls and conservation rooflights. The design incorporated a new swimming pool changing room and equipment room. Permission was also granted for a 2.4kW photovoltaic panel installation discreetly located on the main roof of the building.
